Services and cooperation

The Centre for Cyanobacteria and Their Toxins is an open association of experts in the field of cyanobacteria, cyanotoxins, eutrophication, cyanobacterial blooms management etc. We will welcome new members and co-workers who can help us reach mission and goals of the CCT. CCT offers services and cooperation in following areas:

• Analyses of cyanotoxins in biomass of cyanobacteria, surface waters, drinking water, sediments, tissues of organisms and plants
• Quantification of cyanobacteria in reservoirs (both pelagic and benthic population)
• Quantification of cyanobacteria in raw water and individual levels of the water treatment plants
• Certification of water treatment plants on their ability to remove cyanotoxins
• Seminars and courses on cyanobacteria
• Consultations on the problems with cyanobacterial blooms
• Feasibility studies of the measures for the prevention of cyanobacterial blooms
• Expertises of authorized expert in the area water management - water quality - toxic and allergenic metabolites of microorganisms
• Reference tests and analyses, organization of interlaboratory comparison analyses, providing reference materials and methods
